So in my adventure to find a fix for the top side of the dual edge blade riding the forward blade lock/catch. Ended up with an HDPE solution. Not a guaranteed fix long term, and I say that because I have not seen anyone try this yet, but I am more than happy with the way it turned out functionally. In fact I feel the action on blade retraction has become more smooth from this. Only time will tell if this is a long term fix, and if the HDPE cant handle it there is always Delrin.
