From the time capsule - 1986 - Reporter Marcus Jones lived along the Boston Marathon route, west of Boston, when he started this gig. Previously, when he was a student at Boston University, he watched the marathoners pass by on their way to the finish line four years in a row. However, he's never run the marathon, although I wishes he could. And, he didn't attempt to run the marathon on this day, either. But, he did watch a lot of people who did run the marathon. And, he kept a sharp eye on the people who were watching those people run, too. Got it? Well, let's go.
