Drag Racing dates back almost as far as the automobile itself. The timeless thrill of racing head-to-head originally took the form of illegal street competitions, before becoming a regulated Motorsport. Today's Top Fuel dragsters are the fastest accelerating racing vehicles in the world, with cars reaching speeds of 335 miles per hour and completing the 1,000-foot course in 3.7 seconds. We travelled to Florida to meet a man who's widely regarded as the greatest drag racer of all-time. Don Garlits won 17 National Championships and 144 major competitions, driving dragsters he fabricated, and powered by engines he built.
