Gazmend Haxhia, President of A.S.G Group, is a parallel entrepreneur, which founded eleven companies, and currently manages six of them. A graduate of Tirana University, he obtained a master’s Degree from Columbia University in Business and International Relations, and continued with further business education at IEDC Slovenia, INSEAD Business School in France, Harvard University in the USA, London Business School in the UK. Momentarily, he is an active owner and shareholder of OPEL Noshi, Avis Rent-A Car-Albania, Budget Rent A Car Albania, Albania Experience (an events management and travel company), Polis University, and is actively pursuing entrepreneurial opportunities in Albania and the region. He is a promoter of Entrepreneurship in Albania and beyond and is currently lecturing at IEDC Business School in Slovenia, Polis University and Tirana University the subjects of “Leadership” and “Entrepreneurship”. He has been a speaker on ‘Leadership and Entrepreneurship’ in numerous events in Albania and the world. He is an active member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) since 2008, and in the same year he has been selected as a Young Global Leader of the Davos World Economic Summit. He serves on numerous Boards, including serving as a Board member of the American University in Kosovo, Business Advisory Council (BAC) and on the Board of CEEMAN (Central Eastern Management Schools Association), and has served in the past as a board member of the advisory board of BKT.
