Trains Just Kept Coming! 4 Trains, One Right After The Other! Norfolk Southern Railroad, CSX & Indiana & Ohio Railway Pass One At A Time Non Stop! These trains cross a railroad bridge in Spring Grove Valley aka Winton Place, Cincinnati, Ohio on an ex Baltimore And Ohio Railroad line that still uses ancient B&O line side signals. Is this cool or what?!!
I had been here for a few hours and got a couple of trains and was getting ready to leave. This is north of Queensgate and Gest Street Yards in Cincinnati. It seemed like a slow day and I was just leaving. I had just told Mrs Tooth that I was leaving and was supposed to meet her. Right then a train was approaching with a Burlington Northern Santa Fe locomotive. It was a Norfolk Southern train. Right when it coming a second train was approaching in the opposite direction. It was a CSX train with a couple of classic SD40-2 locomotives. Before that train had passed me a monster train on Norfolk Southern approached in the opposite direction. Right after that train I noticed another train coming in the opposite direction once again. This time it was an Indiana & Ohio Railway train running long hood forward. 4 trains passed right in a row and in a single video sequence. I have never seen four trains pass in a row. I have filmed 3 passenger trains passing in a row in New Jersey.
This area used to be called Winton Place. Voters changed the name to Spring Grove Valley but the railroad still calls it Winton Place. This is a section of Cincinnati just north of Cincinnati Union Terminal. This video shows all 3 of the freight railroads that use it. Amtrak runs through here on 3 round trips a week but usually in the dark or very early morning.
