UK Royal Marines train in Norway in extreme weather conditions, with temperatures as low as -30 degrees Celsius (-22 Fahrenheit). • Cold Response 2022 Drill

The this video UK Royal Marines train in the snow and at sea in RIBs (rigid inflatable boats) and they load and fire heavy machine gun while on an offshore raiding craft. They fire from viking amphibious all-terrain vehicle and move in the snow. UK Royal Marines conduct shooting drills on skis and night firing with heavy machine guns; fire javeline anti-tank missiles at targets and from inside of a building.

UK’s Commando Forces, have been firing various weapons systems, as well as conducting long patrols and amphibious landings, during NATO drill Cold Response 2022, a defensive exercise under a NATO Article 5 scenario.

Also, U.S. Marines transport and receive fuel from British Royal Marines in CH-53E Super Stallion. The British Royal Marines are with the Commando Helicopter Force and the Mobility Troop Force, to provide Rotary-Wing support to 3 Commando Brigade Royal Marines and other UK force elements in the amphibious environment. Experts in the use of vehicles and heavy support weapons, the men of Mobility Troop provide the SAS with the ability to move around the battlefield and pack a big punch, independently of other forces.
