Song for Tilly. Press LIKE if you think whales belong in the ocean. Lyrics:

My body's broke, my mind is gone,
my soul has left this cement pond
You took me from my momma
and flew me to your world
to be your slave and superstar
now my proud straight fin is curled

You pulled me from my ocean
And locked me in a pool
Far from my home and family
Far from your Golden Rule

My body's broke, my mind is gone
my soul has left this cement pond
You took a son from his mom
And called him Tilikum

You tell them I love my trainers
You say I'm happy and healthy
You pretend I'm lucky to be here
And your fantasy makes you wealthy

The humans come to watch me
do tricks for my meal
A circus clown they can see
But can they know how I feel?

My body's broke, my mind is gone
my soul has left this cement pond
You took your boy from his home
And called him your own

Hats off to the following musicians who have refused to perform at SeaWorld, will you cover Tilikum Unchained? Willie Nelson, Barenaked Ladies, Heart, The Beach Boys, Joan Jett, Cheap Trick, Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, REO Speedwagon, Trace Adkins, and 38 Special.

Should whales be used for human amusement? What do you think? Whales are the "humans of the sea." They are smart, social beings with complex emotions. Orca whales remain in their pod for life, often side-by-side with their mom and siblings. Tilikum ("Tilly") was captured near Iceland in November 1983. He was torn from his family when he was two years old. He currently lives in captivity at SeaWorld Orlando. Kyle Kittleson has made a video expressing his opinion.
