This was my RGGS version 1.0 first attempt as I originally added the net cups to the bottom of the fabric pots. On my Rain Garden Grow System Version 2.0 or second attempt I added the net cup to the trays instead and also started using the old lost socks to use on the net cup to keep the dirt out of the gutter. This is kind of outdoor hydroponic system that auto waters itself with a a float that sits in the rain gutter and is connected to a water line.

The frame is made out of pallets that I cut into sections with a sawz all and I screwed together with wood screws. I added a some metal flashing roof line from home depot to add to the top corner more for looks than anything else. There are 16in x 8in blocks that I also bought from Home Depot which I dug a hole and put in the ground and leveled everything 4 feet. So everywhere the pallet we joined there is block underneath.

Using the Fabric Pots allows the air pruning of the roots and also does not heat up in the sun like a plastic pot. The fabric pots also allows for the moisture to dry out much quicker than a plastic pot which works perfect with capillary effect of peat moss to watering the plant without making it to moist and drowning it.
