The Chancellor, Jeremy Hunt, has confirmed the Tories will KEEP the triple lock on pensions if they win the election.

The pension triple lock is a government promise to raise state pensions every year - either by the level of earnings, inflation or 2.5% - whichever is highest.

And now a cross-party group of MPs thinks people receiving Universal Credit should be guaranteed annual increases in the same way pensioners are.
