Kelly Kinetic & Shaun Kinetic, Co-founders of Charm Industrial, joined us for a fireside chat as part of our New American Frontier (NAF) speaker series.

Kelly Kinetic is the CTO and Co-founder at Charm Industrial, where she leads the engineering team developing their pyrolysis and gasification systems. Prior to Charm, she led the early upper stage design at Astra, and the mechanical design at Planet for their constellation of Dove satellites. She studied mechanical engineering at Brown University.

Shaun Kinetic is the Co-Founder and Chief Scientist of Charm Industrial, leading their R&D and system engineering teams. Before Charm, Shaun built the Avionics team for the Astra rocket, and developed high speed electronics and FPGAs for the Dove satellite for Planet. He’s worked on a variety of research projects from neutrino observatories at the South Pole to solid-state soft X-ray laser source development. In his free time he restores obsolete car manufacturing robots to tend to small greenhouses
