Megvii, commonly known as Face++, is one of China’s most ambitious artificial intelligence (AI) start-ups. The company was founded in 2011 by three graduates from Beijing's prestigious Tsinghua University. Megvii provides facial recognition and other AI technology for a range of uses, including for public security and mobile payments.
