While the fastest cars in GTA V Online are all based on real-world models, none of them are quite as fast as you'd expect

Rockstar Games has kept GTA V and Grand Theft Auto 5 Online alive for longer than anyone really expected, with the game being launched on the PS3 and Xbox 360, then re-released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. With a new generation of gaming systems now on the market, GTA V was once again re-released for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. While we are all dying to get our hands on the long-anticipated GTA 6, there's still a lot that you can do in GTA 5 online to keep you busy. One of those things is racing and pushing various cars to the limit.

By various cars, we're referring to what is now hundreds of vehicles available to steal or purchase, but what are the fastest cars in GTA V? Believe it or not, there aren't any cars that are truly fast by real-world standards, despite the fact that a lot of them are inspired by real-world cars like the Porsche 911 or the Volkswagen Beetle.
