On Thursday, it will be ten years to the day since former footballer Fabrice Muamba suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch at Tottenham Hotspurs’ White Hart Lane. For an astonishing 78 minutes, medics battled to get his heart beating again and twice discussed declaring him as dead. As he reflects on his miracle survival - Fabrice will be reliving his memories of that day, and the moment he discovered all three of his sons have inherited the same faulty gene which led to his collapse.
