We have finally seen the production model of Nissan's first electric SUV in the United States, and it's rather impressive.
Ariya started as a concept in 2019, with the production version coming last season. We've now seen the US version of this totally electric SUV, which is set to launch at the end of 2021. Everything you need to know about the Nissan Ariya is right here.
Nissan Ariya Released and cost 2022:
When will it be released and how much will it cost?
When the Nissan Ariya debuts in early 2022, prices will start at $47,125. That's over $12,000 less than the Long Range Tesla Model Y, Tesla's most affordable SUV, which starts at $58,990. Nissan is still eligible for the $7,500 federal tax credit, so you'll save even more money.
The Ariya will be available in Japan between December and February, following a temporary suspension due to a global chip shortage Similarly, the release window in the United States has been moved back from late 2021 to early 2022 as a result of this.
Reservations are now open, with a $500 completely refundable deposit, and the first 10,000 buyers who reserve by January 31 will receive discounted EVgo charging station use, as well as a free membership and $500 in charge credits.
Design and interior:
Design and interior of the Nissan Ariya 2022
The appearance of the Ariya has remained mostly untouched since the concept car launched at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2019, which we approve of.
With compact LED lighting, an angular front end, huge grille, and a slightly sloping roofline that gives it an almost coupe-like vibe, it's a high tech vehicle. A single horizontal brake light gives the back a similar sci-fi vibe, and the Established in 2000 Copper colour is one of our favourites. Inside, it's evident that Nissan has made major changes from the existing Leaf electric car.
The wheel, of course, has a lot of essential controls built in, so you should be able to change settings without flailing around randomly at flat screens and panels.
