Schönbrunn 1
According to the first project  (ca. 1688) for Schönbrunn, Vienna, the palace would have been constructed on Schönbrunn Hill. The central section of the palace would have been built on the spot where a monumental belvedere, the 'Gloriette' (1775) now stands.
