Cheered on by upperclass students, faculty, staff and administration, Stevens Institute of Technology’s Class of 2027 took the traditional first-year jaunt along Wittpenn Walk. The flock landed at Convocation, which officially and ceremoniously opened the new academic year, where administrators, student leaders and representatives from the Stevens Alumni Association welcomed them to Stevens.

The Wittpenn Walk tradition symbolizes the start and end of an undergraduate student's academic career. These same students, on the last day of classes in their senior year, will reverse course and take the Senior Wittpenn Walk to attend the Senior Sunset Toast, ceremoniously ending their career at Stevens.
