As we are patiently waiting for winter to show up in Lake Tahoe, we got a sudden urge to drive in the truck and go camping on some amazing BLM land in Alabama Hills, CA. With our off the cuff decision making and lack of preparation, we ran into a... shall we say... blustery issue. This wasn’t our favorite overlanding trip but there were a few lessons to be learned: Always check the weather before going outdoors and NATURE DONT PLAY! Enjoy :)
