Dunbar is an Irish actor and director, best known for his work in television and theatre. Since 2012, he has starred as Superintendent Ted Hastings in BBC One’s show ‘Line of Duty’, a performance for which he won ‘Best Actor’ at the 2019 TV Choice Awards, along with receiving a BAFTA nomination. He has also played roles in ‘The Jump’, ‘Ashes to Ashes’, ‘The Hollow Crown’, and ‘Broken’.
