We're behind the wheel of the highly-anticipated 2019 Mazda3 GT sedan in front-wheel-drive flavour. Our in-depth full tour and review of this all-new compact consumer car will help you understand Mazda Canada's latest vehicle in the highly competitive segment. Read our full review here: https://www.perpetualradio.ca/single-...

Our full tour and comprehensive review of the 2019 Mazda3 GT with Premium package goes over everything you need to know if you're in the market for this $28,700.00 Canadian car. We discuss the mechanical changes such as the updated 2.5L SkyActiv-G inline 4 engine with cylinder deactivation, along with the rear torsion beam suspension over the previous independent multi-link suspension. Other changes such as the exterior KODO design language from the Kai Concept, removal of front LED fog lights, new integrated washer nozzles into the wiper blades, and the new keyless entry system.

We talk about the new safety technologies such as driver attention alert, rear smart city brake support, rear smart brake cross traffic, and rear seat belt reminders. The interior and exterior dimensions are also discussed in comparison to the 2018 Mazda3 sedan we featured over a year ago.

TestDrive jumps inside the 2019 Mazda 3 GT sedan to talk about the new interior design language found on this compact car, including the features on the GT trim with Premium Package. Features like the new 8.8" Mazda Connect Infotainment system supporting Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM Radio, and Navigation, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, leather seating with 2 driver memory options and 10 way adjustment, leatherette dashboard, dual-zone automatic climate control, a new 12-speaker Bose audio system, Mazda's colour HUD and 7" driver information display, and the redesigned centre arm-rest.

We then take the 2019 Mazda 3 GT on a comprehensive road test to talk about how the whole car feels from a daily driving perspective. We go over the important things buyers want to know like fuel economy, how well the transmission shifts, what sort of power and responsiveness can be expected, and the improvements made to noise, vibration, and harshness.

We wrap up our full episode of TestDrive Spotlight on the 2019 Mazda3 GT FWD with our likes and dislikes for the vehicle, along with our prediction for a Mazda3 Signature for the 2020 model year.
