Post HOBBYIST DRONE FLIGHT pics to YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK OR INSTAGRAM, Etc., you are likely doing it ILLEGALLY according to the FAA without a 107 certificate. I had a conversation directly with the FAA outreach center to get a specific definition so we all know what the rules are. I almost decided not to post this because as the FAA defines it, it is much more rigid than I even thought and I expect the hateful comments will commence. I'm just trying to educate so we can all enjoy the hobby because we know what we are doing is the right, safe, and legal thing so accept this in the spirit in which it is offered. I think there is still a lot of room for hobbyist drone flights but with the awesome cameras available on most it is a shame that to do anything with the pics or video it requires a "part 107 advanced certificate", as the FAA calls it. I know most won't bother to read this section before posting the likely seething hate, but keep in mind I'm the messenger, not the originator of the information. Also, as the author of the channel I can simply delete comments that are out of bounds, so let's help each other out instead of making me the censorship police. Please. I DO want your thoughts though, so don't take my plea as anything other than to keep it clean and thoughtful...
