W. Leon Tucker, an American evangelist and seminary professor wrote back in 1917: "Power is the one thing the church of God needs most and has least. The work of the Lord languishes for lack of power.” In Ephesians 1:19, Paul did not pray for power to be given to believers. What he prayed was that they be given a divine awareness and understanding of the power they possessed in Christ!
