Henderson Police were dispatched to a possible shots fired call. Upon their arrival they located 2 shell casings and received information that a 8 year old juvenile was shot at. They also received information that the suspect barricaded himself of a home with a elderly female who is completely deaf, and a 1 year old child. Henderson police quickly requested fire to stage and requested a code red (Emergency Traffic Only) And Requested HFD to stage. They staged on cozy hill as you can see in the early parts of the video. Henderson Police requested more units and CNT. They quickly called SWAT and other teams such as the ARMOR (All-Hazard Regional Multi-agency Operations and Response) They also requested the Air Resource unit from Henderson Fire Department as well with the Mobile command vehicle (MCV) for both Henderson Fire and Police Departments. They launched several tear gas grenades with flash bangs in effort to get the male outside with no response for 3 hours. They quickly escalated tactics and forced the door open. They sent robots into the house from the ARMOR unit to try to communicate with the male. They male finally surrendered. He was taken into custody then police and swat cleared the residence. Nobody was injured during this call.
