In March 2024, our London Regional Sharing Event took place at the wonderful Criterion Theatre in the West End, as part of Spoken Word Power 2024.

We were joined by hundreds of talented young writers from schools across London who took part in this year’s programme.

Spoken Word Power is a national programme, working with young people across the UK, with the help of our wonderful partner organisations. Guided by our expert facilitators, the young people have been working hard over the last few months, to write, edit and perform original pieces of spoken word poetry. The sharing event gave them a chance to stand on a West End stage, perform to an audience and share their creations with the world. Similar sharing events are happening this month across the country, with the help of Spoken Word Power's partner organisations.

The theme of this year’s Spoken Word Power is ‘Hear My Voice’.
