Dr. Gurtej Sandhu, Vice President & Senior Fellow, Micron Technology, USA, is the winner of FLOGEN Fray International Sustainability Award for his distinguished work in electronic chips and their applications. The award, that bears the name of Derek J. Fray, Emeritus Professor, University of Cambridge, UK, was given by Dr. Florian Kongoli, President of the SIPS Organizing Committee at SIPS 2022 Gala night and the Awards Ceremony, at Hilton Phuket Arcadia Hotel, in Phuket, Thailand on 29 November 2022. Since Prof. Murad could not attend for attend for a temporary health issue, the committee accepted the award on his behalf and the ceremony is planned next year during SIPS 2023
