Junior Mattie Dollar is an excellent student athlete. She is a proven leader who excels on and off the court. On the court she has helped lead the Ladycats basketball team to a perfect 9-0 record in January averaging almost 26 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4.7 steals. On the season, the Ladycats are 27-1 led by Dollar’s 24 points, 7 rebounds 3 assists and nearly 5 steals per game. She is shooting 48% from the field and is certainly the most valuable player on the court. That’s why she is January’s Class 1A Greater Texas Ford Dealers – Female Athlete of the Month.
