"A piece of classical repertory. It is said that this work represents the painful memories of people from long ago. Here, a doira (large tambourine) is played along with a short-necked Afghan rubab. The strings of the Afghan rubab are made of either sheep's gut or silk, and are plucked with a plectrum."
