Here it is folks, the all-new Corolla Cross, tested on our favourite hillclimb. Our main concern was the torsion beam arrangement at the rear suspension, but the Corolla Cross came through beautifully, not only handling well, but delivering a very comfortable and smooth ride as well. From what I can see of the torsion beam design, it allows some flex of the rear suspension without any camber change, so it is able to deliver a similar kind of ride flexibility. Good job Toyota.
