Unboxing the #Ego #LM2135SP lawn mower with dual blades to help with even cutting and mowing of long St. Augustine grass lawns. The 7.5 ah battery mower battery included with the Select Cut charges quickly, with the fast charger, and in my review I found the 60 minute runtime to be accurate.

The double blade on the ego #lawnmower mulches my St. Augustine lawn well. There is slightly better mulching performance from the Toro gas-powered mower I was replacing, but the torque of the dual blades does an excellent job of getting through the grass without slowing down.

The Ego battery-powered mower is much quieter than gas at only about 70db and even includes LED headlights for night-mowing. The angle adjustment makes the lawnmower easy to use for short and tall people and the height adjustment lever let's you quickly change the height of the cut.

I was worried about using a lawn mower with a plastic deck, but it provides a nice 21" cutting area so you can make less passes. The plastic means it weighs less so it is easier to push and won't rust. Durability hasn't been an issue yet. The only downside to the lighter weight is that it will bounce around more when using self propelled than a heavier metal deck mower.

The self propelled option on this Ego lawn mower is plenty fast and helps on hot days pushing through tall grass. I found leaving the self-propelled setting slower left more even cutting of the lawn.
