Truth is, cancel culture isn’t a fair game. Not only does it impact people differently depending on power and status, cancellations don't abide by any law, order, or scale. That means that while controversial powerful figures experience a slap on the wrist, everyday people can suffer irreparable damage without the voice nor resources to challenge it.
