Fania Noël is a PhD candidate in the New School for Social Research’s Sociology program, a Mellon Initiative Fellow, activist, an instructor of “Black to the Future: Race and Gender in Science Fiction” at Eugene Lang College. Her research centers on the Black political space in France, specifically on how radical groups occupy material and symbolic space.
