To connect with this special energy, you will need a bay leaf. On Tuesday, before bedtime, draw a symbol for money on one side of the leaf and write the words "abundance" and "prosperity" on the other.

Hold the bay leaf in your hands and gently rub it to charge it with your personal energy. While doing this, express your wishes for the new astrological year in present tense as though they're already yours.

For instance, say "Thank you, universe, for my well-paying job." Then, end with these words: "Sacred bay leaf, fill me with your energy so that success and abundance may find and follow me. So mote it be"

Place the bay leaf under your pillow to let its energy reach you as you sleep. On the 20th, burn the leaf and scatter the ashes to the wind, giving thanks for the blessings you have and those yet to come.
