In this travel day, flight and Disney hotel check-in vlog, we start out by travelling from London Victoria to London Gatwick. At Gatwick we check-in to the Hilton at London Gatwick hotel before getting dinner at Giraffe in the south terminal.

The next morning we set-off on our first magical day of the trip! I surprise Gary with a premium economy upgrade, just before we get to the Virgin Atlantic check-in desk at the north terminal. With Virgin Atlantic Premium Economy, we're treated with priority boarding, we pre-selected seats upstairs in the bubble, received a glass of orange juice (or bubbly) upon arrival and a much more spacious seat.

During our flight we enjoyed a selection of over 100 movies, dinner service on actual crockery and steel cutlery, tea in china mugs and an excellent afternoon tea prior to landing. I paid for wifi throughout the flight which was £20.99, I thought it was worth the money and the connection was good! I also put my new portable charger to the test and was really happy with it! Once we arrive in Orlando, I surprise Gary with a hotel upgrade and we use Disney's Magical Express to get to Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort. Once there we're given a free Royal Guest Room upgrade! We give you a full royal guest room tour before we visit The Riverside Mill quick service and Fulton's merchandise store.
