We’re going behind the scenes of Disney’s The Mandalorian – the well acclaimed Star Wars series. We’re going to be digging into everything that makes Grogu so incredible – did you know that it takes four puppeteers to operate the little guy? Also, we get to share a cute moment with Pedro Pascal in the sound booth replacing baby Yoda with a hilarious prop of choice. There is so much that goes into the visual effects of The Mandalorian that it’s hard to put into just one video! For one thing, the technology they used is relatively new and incredibly innovative! They are easily putting the use of green screens to shame and creating an entire stage that’s wrapped in LED screens. The set that we see when we’re watching the show at home on TV is the exact same set that the actors were performing in. How wild is that? They would often forget that they’re not actually outside or on this strange planet, that they’re just inside a sound stage. They can also change the set in the blink of an eye and everything is backed up so it’s super easy to go right back to where they were. This show took everything into account – even giving Pedro Pascal two stunt doubles! That’s actually not commonplace in Hollywood – typically there’s only one stunt double for an actor, but obviously we have to protect Pedro Pascal at all costs! Make sure to stick around until the end of the video to find out all of Disney’s technological secrets!
