This week, the weather finally warmed up for us and all of the little spring blossoms opened up! The apple trees are in bloom, there are dandelions and wild violets, and we even managed to see the lilac bush bloom just yesterday afternoon. It has been positively lovely!

I wanted to share with you some recipes for making homemade bird suet as well as a classic frangipane tart to enjoy with your afternoon tea. You will see a few of the little oops moments I had while making the bird suet! But it turned out just fine in the end. The frangipane tart is magnificent, and I hope that you give it a try!
