This 1993 Mercedes-Benz 500E was recently acquired by a private collector from Canepa in Scotts Valley, where every single system, mechanically and cosmetically, has been perfected. After a timeless photoshoot for feature in 000 Magazine (https://000magazine.com/shop/021/), the 500E was delivered to Artdeshine Studios to preserve the concourse level artistry performed on this vehicle by Canepa.

One of the best under-the-radar cars in the automotive world is the Mercedes-Benz 500E. Built in a rare collaboration between Mercedes and Porsche in the early 90s, it is one of the greatest executive sedans ever created. With Porsche's expertise in engineering and manufacturing, these special cars took an average of 18 days to build, going between Mercedes and Porsche factories in Stuttgart. It would be the first time the V8 engine was paired with the "E-Class" W124 chassis, and predates the merger of AMG with Mercedes.

A few clues gave away that this was not your ordinary W124 was its aggressive stance that has 1.5-inch wider track, 0.9-inch lower profile, flared fenders, side skirts, and a front air dam. To the untrained eye, this is just another "E-Class". However with Porsche's engineering DNA across this vehicle, it drove and handled like no other sedan on the road, while maintaining the Mercedes level of quality and comfort.
