Fresh from winning the 2023 Commitment to Diversity Through Student Resourcing Award, Neurosight will share how they did it. By highlighting their partnership with NHS South Central and West, the webinar will dive into the specific innovations that drove truly exceptional diversity outcomes.

In the session, we’ll explore how to leverage recent advances in neuroscience and AI to remove bias from the online assessment selection process of emerging talent programs.

Traditional approaches to online assessment, have historically struggled with bias aligned with ethnicity, socio-economic background, gender, and disability (including neurodiversity).

For example, the employment tribunal ruled in 2019 that scenario-based, situational judgement-type assessments, commonly embedded in early careers employers, discriminate against neurodiverse candidates. Moreover, it's well understood that traditional approaches to cognitive assessment adversely impact female and BME candidates.

While certain mitigation measures can somewhat help, they don't fix the core problem and the bias persists.

In this session, we explore the specific innovations in neuroscience and artificial intelligence that can be successfully applied to early careers assessment and selection to eliminate bias – driving truly exceptional, award-winning diversity outcomes.
