A 500-mile range and supercar like performance were promised when LUCID MOTORS introduced the Air all-electric concept car in 2016. A prototype ripped a test track the next year, achieving 235 mph. However, while several startups have introduced electric prototypes in the last decade, few have made it to production. Today we will discuss Lucid's competitive edge and how they would overtake competitors in a crowded market.
LUCID, may, nevertheless, be the one to pull it off. With a billion-dollar investment from Saudi Arabia and a new manufacturing facility in Casa Grande, Arizona, the Lucid Air sedan, which made its debut, appears to be on solid financial footing. The Lucid Air sedan will go on sale early next year 2022, and the production version will arrive in the same year. That is something we are all aware of.
