Boris Johnson has suffered the most ministerial resignations in 24 hours since 1932, as his premiership plunged to its lowest point yet.

Since Tuesday evening 15 ministers have resigned as the fallout from Downing Street's handling of the Chris Pincher affair continues to grow. More than 30 Conservative MPs have quit their positions in total so far.
