And yet, he has been able to persevere through the calamities that were common to many, and make a name for himself that is uncommon to most. Here’s Gaurav Mehta, talking about his career.

Gaurav Mehta’s childhood was spent ‘down the road’, his name for Jaipur, with at least five more Gaurav’s in class. By the time he reached Std 10, the curriculum had already filtered out all the other Gaurav’s.

Coming out unscathed from adversities has been second nature to Gaurav, and his career is a testament to that fact. Opting for a corporate career instead of following the family traditions of business, Gaurav was already developing a knack for marketing. And to pursue it further he joined MICA, Ahmedabad, against conventional wisdom.

Bunch of Bohemian individuals, heterogenous in their backgrounds, academics, experiences found themselves together at MICA, and Gaurav made the most out of the learnings this diverse set of individuals would have offered. And he put these learnings to good use through his stints at Yahoo, OLX, Zupee and @Gonoise_Official
