Nick Kurosawa is an artist known for his singing, songwriting, and musical abilities.

"You're not doing math, you're doing alchemy."
Nick describes his music as DIY (do-it-yourself) with artistic elements that are born in Hawaiʻi. Nick is 1/2 Japanese and mostly Filipino, but similar to his music, he views his upbringing as a unique product of different elements. You may also hear inspiration from what he enjoys listening to, which includes R&B, soul, funk, and jazz.

Nick shares that after a performance, he was told by a guy at the bar, "all of that is mine now." At first, he was taken aback, but then he learns that it means you are letting go of your control. Once he performs something, there is space for people to conceive their own interpretation of the lyrics and sounds.
