An Andean condor named "Inti" was released into its natural habitat by Bolivian authorities, Thursday, December 2.

With the backdrop of Tunari national park, the condor left a wooden box and strolled around for a while before flying away.

After being found injured in November, the 5-year-old bird was rehabilitated by the Ministry for Water and the Environment in Bolivia to ease its transition into the wild.

"Inti" is the twelfth condor of its kind released in Bolivia with a satellite tracking system.
