IDF Chief Orders “Offensive Preparations” Against Hezbollah | Firstpost America

Israel prepares for a massive escalation in the North after IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi said the military was preparing for an offensive against the Hezbollah terror group. This comes after Hezbollah carried out overnight strikes on Israel and Israel retaliated with artillery and fighter jets. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for at least 4 attacks on Israel including the firing of an anti-tank missile at an Israeli home. Israel claims that not casualaties were reported during the overnight attack. Meanwhile, protests erupted in Lebanon against Israel and its war in Gaza. Meanwhile, Samir Geagea, the leader of a main Christian political party in Lebanon blasted the Shiite militant group Hezbollah for opening a front with Israel to back up its ally Hamas.
