You are watching "Sleeping Beauty", an animated musical fairy tale recreated by The Teolets. This story teaches us that sometimes life and growing up presents risks that no matter how hard you try to avoid them you can't, but you will figure out a solution and that true love will conquer all.

Did you know that ''Sleeping Beauty'' is a fairy tale, which is a type of traditional literature? That means it probably started off being told by word of mouth instead of being written down, and it has been changed and retold many times by now. Fairy tales often have a good and an evil character, magical elements, royal characters, and characters who are very poor. The story of Sleeping Beauty was based on the fairy tale “La Belle Au Bois Dormant,” published in 1697 by Charles Perrault. This tale also served as the inspiration for the Brothers Grimm tale, The Briar Rose, published in 1812. The 1890 ballet Sleeping Beauty, by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, provided the inspiration for much of the music in Disney’s 1959 film.

"Sleeping Beauty," is a story of how a king and queen neglect to invite one of the fairies to the feast honouring their baby girl. The fairy is enraged and puts a curse on the baby. Years later, Sleeping Beauty pricks her finger and falls asleep, just as the fairy had said. Nothing awakens her until the prince comes along and kisses her. This is evidence that love destroys even the evil intentions that the fairy had for Sleeping Beauty, suggesting that love is more powerful than hate.

This tale teaches many lessons to children. It shows us that small mistakes can lead to big problems. It tells us that envy and hatred will lead to one's downfall. Above all it showcases the power of true love that overpowers all obstacles and guides us to a better future.
