We're all guilty... We head to the store, be it Bass Pro, Walmart or anywhere there might be fishing tackle or gear. We tell ourselves that we're not going to be enticed by the aisles filled with juicy swimbaits, flashy cranks and jerkbaits and endless pegs of gear. But alas, we can't control our fish-obsessed minds... We give in, and before we know it, we're in the checkout line with $100 + tackle (or more) we told ourselves we DIDN'T NEED.

This exact situation happened to me at the 2024 Richmond Fishing Expo. I told myself I had all the baits I needed. But I was lying to myself. We never have enough... So follow along as I walk through the tackle that I ended up with from the expo.
