There are a number of customs and conventions that Barristers must observe when in court. This video addresses the standards of behaviour expected of barristers.
➡️ As a barrister, you are held to higher standards of ethical behaviour, this includes behaving professionally and courteously in court.

Courtroom etiquette also extends to how you dress and present yourself.

➡️ There are many unwritten rules when it comes to courtroom etiquette, but some key points include: always stand when addressing the judge, do not interrupt the judge when he/she is speaking, avoid making personal comments/jokes about anyone involved in the case. In short - be respectful at all times.
