Everything we do when recording a track is inspired by, defers to, supports, uplifts, and frames the vocal. In town, we say the vocal is king. So... what about when you're playing a song that is in a different language?

Here, I tackle a fantastic song by German songwriter Matthias Becker. Matthias has hired me to play on much of his new record, and we have a method for how I can best serve the vocal even when I can't exactly understand it. Enjoy!
