Qveen Herby joins the Deja Blu Podcast today to share how to overcome your inner people pleaser, and claim your inner queen. She shares her journey of going from a famous pop singer, to changing her name, to awakening on her spiritual path.
Blu and Qveen discuss the importance of creating media as medicine, reclaiming the word 'witch', and balancing being an empath with a public figure.
This is a potent conversation for anyone looking to embody their authentic selves, and create art from that space.

Qveen Herby, the hip-hop alter ego of Nebraska-born singer-songwriter Amy Noonan, straddles pop and rap with her uniquely vibrant songs.
She originally made her name as one-half of the quirky husband-wife pop duo Karmin. One of the group’s early successes was a viral cover of Chris Brown’s “Look at Me Now,” featuring Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes. When the group went on hiatus in 2017, Amy decided to pursue an independent solo career and rebranded herself as Qveen Herby.
Having grown up on hip-hop and R&B, she cites Missy Elliott, TLC, and Lauryn Hill as her musical inspirations. In 2017, Qveen Herby made her official debut with EP 1. Before the year was out, she returned with EP 2, featuring Maliiibu Mitch and Monogem on the track “Bank.”
Qveen Herby has kept the momentum going by releasing at least two EPs every year. In 2020, she dropped EP 8 and EP 9.
