This video is an intro to using Inkscape to create files compatible with our FastCut Elite Series CNC Plasma Cutting Table. You can import a variety of file types to Inkscape. I found an existing DXF file that needs editing and prepped it for cutting. Link to the file below on my resource website!

This is my first week using Inkscape so I'm still figuring it out. I mostly use Adobe products but wanted to show a free alternate to vector drawing. This is also my first try at screen recording a lesson with a webcam using OBS https://obsproject.com/

You can also convert almost any image to a vector format using https://www.vectorization.org/ . I usually output them to SVG if using Inkscape or Adobe Illustrator to do my image editing.

Leave the comment section for questions and comments related to the project. I'm happy to answer questions but I'll ignore trolls or overall useless comments. I spent a lot of time documenting and creating this video and my goal is to help someone else with their projects.

These guys supply tables all over the place but I'm lucky enough to have my shop in the same city as these tables are fabricated! Amazing support team and highly recommend their CNC tables!
