Most CNC programmers that I know are pretty fussy about the output that they produce, so they usually develop a methodology for overcoming those little annoyances that creep into a cutter path when working with complex or "tight" geometry. As with all problem-solving scenarios, it's much easier to focus on and overcome a problem when you can segregate the problem area from the rest of the picture.
