💬 Whoever missed his obligatory prayers in the past, does he have to make up with Qada-umri for them?

♻️ Qaza'e Umri 'قضاء عمری' (Making up for the missed prayers of your entire life):

⁉️ If a person stayed away from Deen for his entire life and had abandoned his prayers, but now he has realised his mistakes as he grew older and regrets abandoning Salah and has started to offer Salah regularly. Does this person need to make up for the missed prayers of his entire life or would repenting and regretting over his mistakes and making sincere Tawbah, would be enough?

🌟 Majority of the Scholars agree that if a person had abandoned his prayers due to aberrance, he does not need to make up for the missed prayers of his entire life.

🕌 He just needs to repent over sincerely, seek Allah’s forgiveness (make sincere Tawbah) and needs to pray regularly and punctually in future.

❌There is no need to make up for the missed prayers of your entire life (قضاء عمری).You just need to repent and make sincere Taubah.

🔎 The evidence to support this comes from the Quran and Sunnah:

Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."
✨(Az-Zumar 39:53)

📚 The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The one who repents from sin (sincerely) is like the one who did not sin.”
✨[Ibn Majah 4250]

📚 Allah's Messenger ﷺ said: "Indeed the first deed by which a servant will be called to account on the Day of Resurrection is his Salat.
🏆 If it is complete, he is successful and saved, but if it is defective, he has failed and lost.
💭 So if something is deficient in his obligatory (prayers) then the Lord, Mighty and Sublime says:
❓'Look! Are there any voluntary (prayers) for my worshipper?'
✅ So with them, what was deficient in his obligatory (prayers) will be completed. 💫Then the rest of his deeds will be treated like that."
✨[At-Tirmidhi 413]

📜These evidences show that there is no expiation or "قضاء عمری" (Making up for the missed prayers for the entire life) according to the Qur’an and Sunnah.
